This is a flamingo. Flamingos are pink birds with really long skinny legs. Flamingos are pink because they eat shrimp. People sometimes put fake flamingos on their front yard. It’s a nice thing to be honored like that. If they knew, I’m sure the flamingos would be happy.

This is a ladybug. Ladybugs are small bugs that fly. They have red shells with black dots that they keep their wings tucked away in. It’s like a little backpack for wings. It’s unlucky to kill ladybugs, so don’t.

This is a fly. Flies are little bugs with wings. Some bite, some just fly by your ear and food. Flies are the most annoying creatures on Earth. Flies leave eggs inside dead animals. The eggs hatch and become maggots. Gross!

This is a dove. Doves are beautiful white birds. Doves are the symbol of peace. People keep doves to release during presentations and weddings. But the captive birds can’t survive in the wild so they die. How peaceful.

This is a butterfly. Butterflies are animals that come out of the houses made by caterpillars. Butterflies cannot go back in the caterpillars’s house and come out a caterpillar. It’s a one way street for the poor butterfly. Butterflies are very pretty and fly around.
