This is a Sponge. Who would have thought a sponge was alive before it touched your car, dishes, or private parts? Do you think sponges know where they are going to end up? Probably not, but I don’t know. Some of those sponges look like brains, so maybe they do know. Oh man, just think you’re on the sea floor minding your own business and you see someone come pick you off the ground and you know you’re destine for a butt crack or a car windshield.
This is a Lionfish. Turns out, not as scary as real lions. You think a fish named after the king of the jungle would be a bit scarier. Oh, they have venomous spines you say? How scary. Not! There are star fish scarier than this thing.
This is a Penguin. Penguins are neat little birds that swim, waddle, but don’t fly. Their feathers are colored to look like they’re wearing little tuxedos. Makes you wonder where they are all going dressed up so formally all the time.
This is a Leatherback Sea Turtle. LST’s are turtles that live in the sea except they don’t have hard shells. LST’s have shells that are a bit softer and made of, you guessed it, leather. I don’t know why people don’t make hand bags and other leather goods from these turtles. It seems like it would be one less step than having to use a cow, which isn’t made out of leather.
This is a jellyfish. Jellyfish are definitely not made out of jelly. Trust me. If anything they should be called squishy salty yuck blobs. I don’t even know where the fish name came from, because it’s not a fish. Salty Snot Blobs. That’s their new name.
